Stamps Used:
- 40001 J Scallop background
- 42009 I Large Latin text
- 54006 F Baroque square
The transfer is from Tuscan
Rose CD #2. She was named "photo sepia toned angel". I
painted the background a bright green. Then stamped the scallop
background in the upper corners. I covered this with tissue paper to
diffuse the stamping. It doesn't really show. I tinted the
tissue paper with a matte medium and a bit of green. I stamped the
Latin text background with a pale yellow paint.

Stamps Used:
- 50008 A Long stem
- 52001 J Baroque background
The transfer is from Tuscan
Rose CD #3. I used Omni
Gel on the color copy for the transfer process as I didn't want any
part of the transfer to rub off. I wanted a perfect transfer.

Stamps Used:
- 12020 A Small birds
- 46004 J Giant moth
I used the colors from exercise #45 from
the color exercises for the
background. This included Cerulean blue, Burnt Sienna, Titan Buff
and Zinc white.
I participated in an ATC tarot swap in which
the theme was a "character in literature." I chose
Pei from "Women of the Silk" by Gail Tsukiyama. I found
this great picture of silk workers on the internet as my starting place. The colors from exercise
#45
matched the blues and browns in the picture. I transferred the lady. I stamped the
bird and moths stamps and painted with a wipe
out tool. The silk lace paper added to the theme as did the
dictionary page for the word "sisters".

Stamps Used:
- 44007 G Mounts of hand
- 50006 G Bold square
I used the colors from exercise #46 from
the color exercises for the
background. This included Phthalo Blue, Burnt Sienna and Titan Buff.
I started with a picture from the new Tuscan
Rose CD #2 as my inspiration. The colors from exercise #46
matched the turquoise necklace the woman is wearing so well. I first glued down a page from
a book of poetry to the
painted background. Then I transferred the lady. I stamped the
hand stamp and painted it with titan buff paint and a wipe
out tool. The bold square was stamped with acrylic paint, not ink.
